My friends say I should travel more. That's easy for them to say. When I'm not frantically meeting deadlines, I like to unwind with friends, sharing a bottle or two of Pinot Gris, a game or two of pool and a big bowl of spaghetti at my local Italian.

I'm always up for a laugh, and find the madcap antics of those Chaser boys particularly amusing. Similarly, I am always up for a dare, and revel in meeting new people and trying new things. I thrive on spontaneity and like my life to be full of surprises.

I try to get to the gym now and then, and enjoy it even more if The Simpsons is on there.

Reading keeps me sane, and I'm a certified 'book a week' girl, tucking in to anything from geo-political tomes to thrillers.

Speaking of which, it just so happens that Douglas Adams possesses many of the qualities I seek in a mate: insanely intelligent yet not arrogant, curious, open-minded, hysterically funny, childlike yet erudite. If you can tolerate my obsession with vintage clothing stores, second-hand bookstores, meandering through galleries, and drinking more than I should, perhaps we should meet? That way, when I next get arrested for skinny-dipping in Byron Bay, I won't be on my own.
